Dues Relief

Once again Founder Region & SIA offer COVID Relief for dues. Founder Region is giving each club a $100 credit on their dues to help regain their financial stability for the upcoming club year. Refer to the region Dues Form which is located on the “Resources” page on the region website for more information. Please submit dues renewal before July 1, 2021.

SIA is also offering Relief Package funding to help defray your SIA dues, SI Per Capita Payment, and club general liability per capita fee where applicable. Please visit this webpage for more detail on the eligibility criteria and application process.

You will need to fill out and submit an individual application form to your club treasurer (or the treasurer’s designate) by June 7, 2021. Your club treasurer will file your club’s request for funding no later than June 21, 2021, and all applications will be reviewed and SIA headquarters will inform clubs whether the request has been funded by June 25, 2021.

Memorial Day, originally called Decoration Day, began during the American Civil War when citizens placed flowers on the graves of those who had been killed in battle. After World War I, it came to be observed in honour of those who had died in all U.S. wars, and its name changed to Memorial Day.

As we remember our beloved Soroptimist members who were lost this past year, please join us for the 2021 Virtual Redwood Memorial Grove Service will be held Sunday, June 13, 2021 at 11:00am via Zoom. The service is moderated by Chair Debbie Thompson and presented by members of the Founder Region Board. Join us for a virtual walking tour through the redwoods, history of the grove, and special presentation about our Northern California State Parks. All members are encouraged to attend this inspiring and moving service. Please join us as we remember our beloved members. Register for this event.
