Preparing for District Meetings

The Region Board had a busy agenda at the August board meeting.  We received updates from our District Directors on all the wonderful activities and events clubs are working on and the Officers all gave their reports and we shared our goals and worked on our Strategic Plan.  We laid out our intentions for programming for the district meetings.  We reviewed updates from SIA.  We changed the date of the deadline for Barbara Stevenson “S” Club awards to March 1 (from April 15), and approved for the “S” Club committee to award one $500.00 Barbara Stevenson “S”Club award each year of the biennium.  We also reviewed the Founder Region Bylaws and Procedures for potential revisions which I will be talking about at our District Meetings.

Plan to attend your District Meeting and learn about all of the things happening within our organization.  We have quite a line up of presentations from our committees, District Directors, Officers, and Fellowship Directors.  And, of course, our Fellowship Basket raffle is sure to draw some lucky winners at the end of the sessions.
